How to Block Certain Incoming Texts on a BlackBerry

Fortunately, as a BlackBerry user, you do have some control over the text messages you receive. By altering the settings on your phone or by taking advantage of text blocking services from your cellular provider, you can eliminate most unwanted text messages.

Instructions

1. Block Text Messages

     Click on the "Text Messages" icon on your BlackBerry phone.

     Press the "Menu" key on your BlackBerry, which is located to the right side of the green Send Call button.

     Navigate to "Options" and select "Text Messaging."

     Go to the MMS section and look for Message Filtering.

     Place a checkmark next to the certain incoming text messages you want to block. You can select Reject Anonymous Messages or Reject Advertisements.

     Click the "Menu" key on your BlackBerry keypad and select "Save."

   Block Text Messages With Roaming
